Jacob Imam

Jacob Imam

President

Jacob Imam was born into a Muslim home, and converted to Catholicism under the guidance of his godfather, Walter Hooper (C. S. Lewis’s personal secretary). He graduated from the University of Oxford as a Marshall scholar with his masters and doctorate, writing his dissertation on theology and economics. As a popular speaker and writer on politics and economics, he has appeared on Pints with Aquinas, Fox News, and other media outlets. He and his wife, Alice, have four young children.

Andrew Willard Jones

Provost

Andrew Willard Jones is a leading political theologian and historian. His books Before Church and State: A Study of Social Order in St. Louis IX’s Sacramental Kingdom and The Two Cities: A History of Christian Politics as well as his many articles have broken new ground in Catholic political thought. He has held positions at various universities and colleges and has over fifteen years of teaching experience. He holds a PhD from St. Louis University and he and his wife Sara are busy raising their ten children.

James Heal

Trades Dean

James retired from the Tucson Fire Department in 2022 after 24 years. He spent significant time as an EMT/Paramedic and engine captain trained in Technical Rescue and Hazardous Materials. He spent 4 years in the Training Division developing curriculum and training programs for approximately 500 uniformed personnel, as well as being an adjunct instructor and subject matter expert for Pima Community College. He worked extensively with regional and state organizations to expand and educate current and future firefighters and leaders in public safety. He taught classes on leadership, high risk rescue, firefighter survival, active shooter preparedness and response. He has extensive experience in organizational leadership and management, logistics, and strategic development. James also has 30 years of experience with masonry, welding, and home repair/remodel. He is currently married with 6 children and 3 grandchildren.

Alex Renn

VP of Operations

Alex Renn quietly improves any system he encounters. He pairs a professional background in design,marketing, and operations with a personal love for woodworking and home improvement. His love of the Faith, along with his technical aptitude and experience, enable him to build uniquely functional and beautiful systems and products.

Chad Rosamond

VP of Finance

Chad Rosamond grew up doing construction for his father’s businesses in Atlanta and graduated from the University of Utah with both a BS in Math and a Masters of Statistics. He spent almost twenty years working in the finance industry and the past five years as owner and operator of a Charlotte, NC door remodeling company. He and his wife, Kelly, have seven children and share a passion for the Catholic faith, classical education, restoration of beautiful culture through the fine and practical arts, and fostering local community and economy.

Michael Gugala

VP of Enrollment

Michael Gugala has more than two decades of experience guiding Fortune 500 companies in marketing, public relations and business leadership. Feeling the call to serve in a different capacity, he brought his expertise in building and managing high-performing, cross-functional teams to the nonprofit sector. As a skilled communicator and problem-solver, he is passionate about spreading the mission of the college and finding ways to continuously improve the student experience. Additionally, he applies himself diligently to recruiting, reviewing and selecting future students for the college. He and his wife, Jaime, and their six children find joy in the daily striving to live an authentically Catholic life.

Stephen Snead

Director of Development

Stephen Snead joined the College of St. Joseph the Worker in 2025 as its first full-time Director of Development, where he oversees the College's fund raising program. He previously served in development roles at the University of Mississippi, Washington & Lee University, Belmont University, the Intercollegiate Studies Institute, and Baptist Health Foundation. A 2019 convert to the faith, he lives in Jackson, MS, with his wife and three sons. They are parishioners at the Cathedral of St. Peter the Apostle.

Wes Cimmarrusti

VP of Marketing

Wes has spent his career building and growing entrepreneurial ventures. After beginning in finance, he moved into technology, where he co-founded a startup that surpassed one million downloads. He later led marketing for the publicly traded fintech PSQ Holdings (NYSE: PSQH) and served as an operating partner at Majestic Capital, a private equity firm. Wes and his wife are converts to the Catholic faith and have five young children.
